Thermal imaging assists in moisture mapping

SERVPRO responded to a call from storm event at a dentist office.  There was known water damage do to leaking in the light fixtures, however, it was unknown how far the water had migrated.  SERVPRO trained tech using thermal imaging was able to throughly scope the water migration.  This is a key process since proper placement of drying equipment is made.  Consideration also has to be made for demo purposes versus salvaging affected building materials.  This commercial property was shut down for a few days while the bulk of the drying took place.  If the property was not scoped properly from day one then the drying process would have been extended.
