SERVPRO of Newport Beach onsite performing cleanup from a large loss house fire.  We removed all damaged drywall and insulation.  The exposed framing needed cleaning.  Dry ice blasting works well in this instance.  The dry ice is blasted using compressed air.  The abrasive ice pellets will erode the surface of the wood cleaning it of any debris or soot residue.  The dry ice evaporates which greatly assists with the clean up process.  It is not easy work but the process works well for getting all the nooks and crevices found in framing.  Give SERVPRO of Newport Beach a call for your fire clean up needs.
